OnePlus could be gearing up to release the Nord CE 3 sequel to the Nord CE 2. While the firm has yet to divulge details about its ambitions, we now have a new leak that shows the phone’s whole spec sheet. Here’s what you can expect.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Specifications Have Been Leaked
According to OnLeaks and GadgetGang, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will have some improvements over its predecessor. It could have a larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate capability. However, an LCD display might be used as a workaround. To recall, the Nord CE 2 has an AMOLED display.
Instead of a MediaTek processor, the alleged spec sheet suggests a Snapdragon 695 processor, similar to the Nord CE 2 Lite. While it won’t be very smooth, it should be adequate. The phone will reportedly have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Changes may also be made in the camera department. The Nord CE 3 is expected to have a 108MP main camera (the Nord CE 2 has a 64MP primary shooter), a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. A 16MP selfie camera is also on the way.
The spec sheet mentions a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging capabilities, which could be a tad faster than the 65W SuperVOOC charging. We can also have a fingerprint scanner on the side instead of an in-display one. It is expected to run OxygenOS, which is based on Android 12. There has been no information on the design as of yet.
We could be looking at a price of less than Rs 30,000. In terms of release date, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 might debut at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2023. The Nord CE 2 was released in February, therefore the latter timeline is a possibility. OnePlus has yet to make the announcement official. So it’s preferable to wait for additional information. We will keep you updated, so stay tuned!
